Gouda is a city in the South Holland, The Netherlands. It is famous for its Gouda cheese, stroopwafels, smoking pipes, many grachten, and its 15th-century city hall. Gouda is often called «The capital of Dutch cheese». Gouda's array of historic churches and other buildings makes it a very popular day trip destination. Especially a lot of tourists visit the city on Thursday, when the cheese market opens - the main attraction of Gouda.
