КИШИНЕВ, МОЛДАВИЯ
Chisinau, also known as Kishinev, is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. The city is Moldova's main cultural, industrial and commercial center, and is located in the middle of the country, on the river Bic. Chisinau is the most economically prosperous locality in Moldova and its largest transportation hub. The Festival of young wine Tulburel is held in Chisinau at the end of September. Moldova National Wine Day and Wine Festival take place every year in the first weekend of October in Chisinau. These events celebrate the autumn harvest and recognize the country's long history of winemaking, which dates back some 500 years.
